- Plug in your miner using the included power supply.
⚠️ Never use with a third-party power supply. Doing so may damage your miner. - Wait for the miner to broadcast its Wi-Fi network.
On the screen, you’ll see a message like:Connect to ssid: NerdQaxe_XXXX - Using your smartphone, tablet, or computer, join the Wi-Fi network named
NerdQaxe_XXXX. No password is required. - Once connected, a configuration interface will automatically appear. If it doesn’t, open a browser and go to:
http://192.168.4.1 - Tap Settings to begin configuration. Then enter:
- WiFi Network & Password – The home or office Wi-Fi you want your miner to connect to.
⚠️ The built-in Wi-Fi module only supports 2.4 GHz — not 5 GHz. - Pool URL/Port – Your mining pool’s address (or keep the default).
- BTC Address – The Bitcoin wallet address where your rewards will be sent.
- WiFi Network & Password – The home or office Wi-Fi you want your miner to connect to.
- After entering your details, click Save, then tap Restart.
Your NerdQaxe+ Hydro will reboot, connect to Wi-Fi, and begin mining automatically.

Use the USB-C connection on the miner's screen to establish a connection. - Select your device type from the dropdown list.
- Click "Start Flashing" to load the latest AxeOS firmware.
The NerdQaxe+ Hydro gives you full control over frequency and voltage settings through its AxeOS interface, so technically, overclocking is possible. However, we recommend focusing on finding the most efficient balance between frequency and voltage rather than pushing for maximum hashrate.
Running the miner beyond its optimal limits may result in increased heat, system instability, or long-term hardware wear. While the system is designed for performance, it's also built for reliability — and dialing in a well-balanced configuration can give you better efficiency and lifespan over time.
If you choose to experiment, monitor your temperatures and stability closely, and make adjustments gradually. For most users, the best results come from tuning for efficiency, not extremes.
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase, as long as the item is new, unused, and in its original packaging. To begin a return, contact us at support@cryobytelabs.com to request an RMA number. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
Once we receive and inspect the item, refunds are typically processed within 14 days, though it may take 1–2 billing cycles to appear on your statement.
