Get Your Nerdaxe Hydro Setup and Hashing!
1. Power On
Plug in your miner using the included power supply. ⚠️ Never use with a third-party power supply. Doing so may damage your miner.
⚡ Pro Tip: Plug your PSU into the outlet first, then your Nerdaxe Hydro. If you reverse the order, overcurrent protection can kick in, causing your miner to blink on and off for 5–10 seconds before startup.
2. Find Default Wi-Fi Network
Wait for the miner to broadcast its Wi-Fi network. This may take up to 30 seconds. On the screen, you’ll see a message like: Config WiFi Portal SSID: Nerdaxe_XXXX
3. Connect to Default Wi-Fi Network
Using your smartphone, tablet, or computer, join the Wi-Fi network named Nerdaxe_XXXX. No password is required.
4. Open Browser
Once connected, a configuration interface will automatically appear. If it doesn’t, open a browser or choose Manage Router.
5. Configure Your Wi-Fi Settings
Tap Menu > Settings to begin configuration. Then enter:
- Your WiFi network name (WiFi SSID) & Password (WiFi Password) - Hostname is optional
⚠️ The built-in Wi-Fi module only supports 2.4 GHz — not 5 GHz.
- Pool URL & Port — Your mining pool’s information (or keep the default).
- BTC Address (Stratum User) — The Bitcoin wallet address where your rewards will be sent.
6. Save and Restart
Click Save and then Restart to save your changes and start mining!
7. Access AxeOS
Now that your Nerdaxe Hydro is up and running, just enter the IP address shown on the miner’s display into your browser’s address bar. You’ll instantly access AxeOS to monitor and control your miner
8. Gently Bend Tubes Down
Pull the tubes down gently until they are flatter. This enables the Nerdaxe Hydro light to be fully visible.
